What is mediation?

Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process where a neutral mediator helps parties reach a mutually acceptable resolution. A settlement agreement may be made legally binding if documented and agreed upon by both parties.

How is mediation different from litigation?

In mediation, parties retain control over the outcome and work towards a mutually agreed solution. It is generally faster and provides flexibility. Litigation involves formal court proceedings and a decision imposed by the court.

What is Construction Adjudication?

It is a fast and cost-effective statutory dispute resolution process for resolving payment disputes in the construction industry under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA).
